This collection brings together two very different buying jobs. Birthday pinatas can support sales throughout the year. Halloween, Christmas and other seasonal products have a short period in which they must be sampled, produced, shipped, received and sold. They should not all be purchased with the same stock rule.

Build the year-round core first

Your birthday core should help customers choose by use, not simply give them a wall of themes. A standard break-open design, a working pull-string option, a mini favor, a number product and a limited statement piece can each answer a different party need. If two products target the same age, mechanism, size and theme, ask whether both have earned a place.

Use new ideas as tests. Give each one a target shopper, a quantity and a decision rule for reorder or exit. Our guide to birthday pinata ideas for retailers shows how to turn a mood board into a smaller, more useful range.

Give every seasonal design a warehouse date

A seasonal product is not ready simply because its artwork looks finished. New structures may need samples. Buyer comments and revisions take time. Packing measurements must follow the approved item, and freight still has to arrive before the store needs the stock.

Start from the required warehouse date and work backward. Separate repeat products from new custom work, and keep the most date-specific designs at a depth your sales window can support. The seasonal sample timeline is useful when a quoted sample-making time looks shorter than the complete approval process.

When asking for a quotation, mark each SKU as year-round, seasonal repeat or new seasonal design. Include quantity per design, mechanism, destination, required warehouse date and any label or retail-presentation needs. That lets us identify which items can follow an existing reference and which need a separate sample decision.

Use different reorder questions for core and seasonal stock

For the birthday core, review sales by exact SKU and product role, then deepen the items that customers actually repeat. For seasonal stock, ask a harder question before reordering: can the next shipment still arrive with enough full-price selling time? A strong early week does not automatically justify another order when freight and distribution will consume the remaining window. Keep those two reviews separate even when the products appear together on this collection page.
